CDR Jason Pfaff
Commander, Priority Material Officer

Commander Pfaff, a native of Morris, Illinois, graduated from DeVry University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. He was commissioned into the United States Navy through Officer Candidate School at Pensacola, Florida, in July 2005. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School.
His shore assignments include serving as the Kings Bay Site Director and Fuel Depot Officer for Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville; Submarine Supply and Logistics Officer for Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia; and Joint Procurement Contracting Officer for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he served as the Site Director for NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, and as the End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain Action Officer and Strategic Planner (N4L5) for the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV).
At sea and forward-deployed to Guam, CDR Pfaff served on USS Buffalo (SSN 715) as Supply Officer, conducting four missions vital to national security and two ASW taskings in support of Global War on Terrorism. His second department head tour was aboard USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) as Supply Officer, where he completed an independent deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet in support of maritime security operations.
CDR Pfaff is a member of the Acquisition Professional community and a Joint Qualified Officer. He is a qualified Submarine Supply Corps Officer, Naval Aviation Supply Officer and Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer. His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), and other various unit awards.
